Juan Pierre and JD Drew win the Co-MVP award for the 2nd annual ABL All Star Game.  Drew gets the nod for a timely, bases loaded double that earned him 3 RBI's.  Pierre earns his reward with a perfect day (1 for 1)at the plate including a double, walk, stolen base, and 2 RBI's.

The AL takes the 2nd annual ABL All Star Game 6-4. To even the score 1-1. 

The scoring starting in the 2nd inning when David Ortiz led off the inning with a solo shot to right. Juan Pierre hit a 2 run double later in the inning to extend the lead to 3-0. The NL answered with 2 in the top of the 3rd starting with a triple by Pirates' Luis Castillo followed by a single from Omar Vizquel. Later in the inning Jays' Octavio Dotel walked in a run to make it 3-2 AL. The National League took the lead in the 4th with 2 outs, Omar Vizquel doubled to left then the Giants Melvin Mora deposited one into the centerfield seats to make the score 4-3 after 4. The last of the scoring came in the bottom of the 5th when the NL got a little sloppy with their pitching by walking a couple and giving up a couple of hits before the Indian's JD Drew cleared the bases with a double. The AL pitching staff only allowed 2 hits after the 4th inning with Thompson, Wagner, Schilling, Foulke & Rivera throwing one shut out inning each to close the door for the AL. As a result the AL will have homefield advantage through the World Series.
